El Paso Father Charged With Murdering His Teen Daughter

El Paso Police police detectives have arrested the father of a 17-year-old girl whose body was found in the Rio Grande.

On Saturday morning, a fisherman reported a body in the river in the area of Executive and Ewald Kipp.

Police said 17–year old Carissia Ingraham was reported missing by her father the next day.

Through the investigation, detectives found that 39–year old Ghari Ingraham killed his daughter during an incident of family violence at their home at 151 S. Resler, police said. Ingraham disposed of the body and later reported his daughter missing, according to police.

Ghari Ingraham was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for Murder under a $750,000 bond.
