Terry County Heritage Museum

The Terry County Historical Committee organized a meeting of 96 interested citizens in February 1970. From that meeting, the Terry County Heritage Museum Association was formed and officers were elected. Mr. A.M. Brownfield had left his home to the City of Brownfield and the Museum Association leased the building and grounds for $1.00 per year. The Terry County heritage Museum opened to the public in February 1975.
