Worlds Largest Squirrel

From Austin head west along Hwy 71 until you see the one hundred foot tall scrolling sign. When you see the sign you're close. You'll find Ms. Pearl, the 14 Foot Squirrel, at the base of the sign. You'll usually find visitors clicking away taking snapshots. Ms. Pearl sits in the parking area of the Berdoll Pecan Farm Candy and Gift Company, a roadside store that offers a unique blend of Texas favorites.

No We're not Nuts
This is a first for us. You can actually buy a delicious 9" pecan pie out of their Pecan vending machine. The vending machine is located outside on the front porch. Once inside the store your hooked. This brightly lit roadside stop sells purses, crosses, wind chimes, Texas souvenirs, jams, and of course all of the pecan favorites!

Take a Drive
Yes they ship all of this stuff but seeing it in person is the way to go. So take a short drive and spend a few hours at the store. Take your picture with Ms.Pearl, the 14 foot squirrel, buy a full size pecan pie out of our Pecan vending machine and browse their great gift selection.
