Cushing Memorial Library and Archives

In addition to housing Texas A&M Universitys rare books special collections and archives Cushing Memorial Library and Archives presents 4-6 exhibits for visitors each year. Recent exhibits drawn from the research collections have explored such topics as the Lewis & Clark Expedition Walt Whitman and the evolution of Leaves of Grass the La Lowman printing arts collection and Africa-Americans at Texas A&M. Paintings and other works from Cushings extensive art collections in addition to rare books and other historic materials are always on display.
