Depot Museum

The old 1901 Missouri Pacific railway depot was an important link. News, gossip and local business concerns traveled by the train to the citizens of Henderson, Texas. Today The Depot Museum is your link for East Texas history, folk art and folk artist information. This Living History Museum also offers educational instruction for Folk Arts that have been preserved specific to East Texas. Visit the nine buildings saw mill and oil derrick on the five acre complex located just a few blocks away from the square at 514 North High Street. A stop you will not want to miss.
