Allens Landing

This park on Buffalo Bayou is where the Allen brothers arrived in 1836 to promote a new real estate venture: Houston. Several important restored 19th-century buildings are now devoted to dining and entertainment. Bounded by Travis, Milam, Congress and Preston streets.
