Gregg County Historical Museum

The museum is housed in the historic Everett Building in Downtown Longview. Originally built as the Citizens National Bank in 1910, it was presented to the Gregg County Historical Foundation in 1979. The Everett Building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and has an Official Texas Historical Marker.

The many exhibits illustrate the development of Gregg County with numerous artifacts and historic photographs. A specially designed hands-on area is a favorite of both children and adults.

The first Saturday of December, history and exhibits come alive when actors depict holiday traditions from years gone by. Open Tue.-Fri. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
