Mesquite Championship Rodeo

For more than 50 years, the Mesquite Pro Rodeo has entertained families with thrilling rodeo events such as saddle bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing and more. Named Best Rodeo Experience in the Best of Texas 2012, the rodeo includes jumbo video boards to highlight all of the action, a private club and lots of children’s activities, such as pony rides, free face painting, the Dash for Cash, and Mutton Bustin. Visitors can savor a delicious home-cooked barbecue with all the fixins and shop for that perfect souvenir at Wild Horse Gift Shoppe. Performances are every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. from June through August, in air-conditioned Mesquite Arena.
