Yucca Theatre
The Yucca is a nostalgic example of flamboyant Assyrian-style architecture featuring gilded lions ornate columns scrollwork and elaborate lighting fixtures. The exterior is cut sandstone with black marble columns framing the entrance. Built and designed by Wyatt C. Hendrick in 1929 the theatre was restored in 1981 and now houses the mad-cap Summer Mummers. Tours can be arranged in advance.
