Comal River

The Comal enjoys a unique claim to fame: It is the shortest river in the United States. The 2.5-mile-long Comal starts at one of the largest natural springs in Texas in Landa Park the 196-acre jewel of the citys parks system and winds through the heart of the Schlitterbahn Water Park before joining the Guadalupe. Its broad slow flow makes it ideal for families looking for a quiet tubing experience and the clear spring waters make it a popular destination for snorkeling and diving.
