First United Methodist Church-Pampa

Five charter members organized the first denominational church in Pampa, Sept. 29, 1906. They built a one-room white church with steeple in 1908. In 1924 they bought this church site. This was a typical basement church until the new sanctuary was completed in 1928. The City library was located in the basement.? The first extensive remodeling of the sanctuary and the outside was completed in 1974; and in 2015 a new major remodeling was completed
