Camping can hardly get more convenient than at this new KOA, just off I-10 near the Texas Welcome Center and behind Camping World. Big rigs navigate the campground with ease, thanks to 30-foot-wide roads and large pull thru sites. All sites face north/northeast to take advantage of afternoon shade and the desert-paradise views at the foothills of Franklin Mountains State Park. Scale the mountains via the Wyler Aerial Tramway. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking, birding and four-wheeling. Nearby, you'll find plenty of dining and shopping. Visit historic downtown El Paso. the War Eagles Air Museum, wineries and Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino. Kids love the Wet-N-Wild Waterworld across from the campground.
