Sheldon Lake

Access for large boats is provided at the south boat ramp on Pineland Road. Smaller boats may be launched at the north parking lot on Garrett Road. Boat motors must be 10 hp or under and the reservoir is closed to boats November 1-March 1 to curtail disturbance of waterfowl using the area. Fishing from the bank is allowed year round and there are four T-head fishing piers located along the levees. No camping is available in Sheldon Lake State Park.
