Things to Do
Lake Tawakoni offers 376 acres with more than five miles of shoreline and a variety of activities, including camping, swimming, fishing, boating, mountain biking, geocaching, hiking and birding. The park sometimes reaches its parking capacity during large scheduled events, which may limit access. Please check the calendar of events for possible restrictions or call the park for more information.
The park has a variety of campsites , including full hook-up sites and a Group Primitive Camping Area.
Our park store, the Lake Tawakoni Trading Post, carries souvenirs, ice, firewood, cold drinks, snacks and a variety of fishing bait and tackle.
