Ruby

RUBY, TEXAS . Ruby was a switch on the Texas and New Orleans Railroad in western Karnes County. It served a community settled by Polish and Swedish immigrants. At one time a school and church were located in the area, but by the early 1990s only a few scattered farmhouses remained.
