Largemouth bass angling has improved on Lake Bryan over the past few years and now gives anglers the opportunity to catch good numbers of bass as well as the potential to catch a bass in the 5 to 7 pound class. Channel catfish are also quite abundant and are easily caught on natural baits from either a boat or the bank. A variety of sunfish species abound in the lake and can be most easily caught around rip rap by fly rod anglers on popping bugs and insect imitation flies or with live worms and crickets fished under a float.
