The fishing at Lake Casa Blanca is very good at times. Largemouth bass fishing is good with fish up to 8 pounds common. There are many blue and channel catfish in the 2 to 4 pound range plus a few much larger. Many large crappie provide hours of fishing pleasure. Hybrid stripers have been stocked in the lake since the late 1970s. There are currently many fish just under the 18-inch minimum length limit that will grow out to keeper-sized fish this year
