Centennial Plaza
Centennial Plaza was carefully designed to be a people oriented park. The tree-lined courtyard is also the home of a 300 seat amphitheater. A cascading water fountain and water wall provide cool refreshing relief from the West Texas sun. The focal point of the Plaza is the 143-foot long 4 1/2 foot tall sculptured brick wall depicting the history of Midland. Nearby on the south Midland Center wall you ll find a bronze plaque depicting the rescue of Jessica McClure from an abandoned water well in October 1987.
