Recreation Park

Recreation Park is the mega-outdoor facility of Pampa. Facilities for locals and tourists include fishing, camping, hiking, picnics, volleyball, basketball, softball, shooting and more. Events during the year include livestock shows, 4th of July fireworks display, the Top O Texas Rodeo held each August, and other events. It is s a 134-acre multi-purpose park comprised of a 7 surface acre lake with canoe launch and fishing pier, four-field softball complex, skeet range, indoor pistol range, clyde carruth pavilion show barn, playgrounds, rodeo grounds, group shelter pavilion, picnic tables, hiking trail, sand volleyball and
basketball courts. Overnight camping is permitted for RV's, with water, electrical hook-ups, and two dump stations. Showers and restroom facilities are available for campers, with day use restrooms open to the general public.
