- Frio River -
The cool waters of the Frio River sure does bring the folks out during the summer months. Located on the river you will find Garner State Park which is about 10 miles south of Leakey, Texas and good 75 miles west of San Antonio. Visitors will enjoy the campgrounds, fishing, tubing, kayaking and other activities. Make sure to visit the many camgrounds along the Frio.
