Acton tate Historical Park

Acton State Historic Site is Texas  smallest state park and is located in Hood County. Total acreage .01. The Monument was erected at Acton Cemetery by Legislative appropriation in 1911. By Legislative Act in 1949  site was transferred from custody of State Board of Control to the State Parks Board  now the Parks and Wildlife Department.
